But not only more than 150 PV projects with a output value of 15 MW are developed by Greece Solar also 100 MW Biogas with CHP and trigeneration plants are waiting for an investor, who will deal with our advice directly with the government.

From its early beginning in 2007, GreeceSolar's mission has been to provide sustainable energy supply for Greece. What started as a vision for remote Greek islands has since gained an amazing momentum. The company which originated in Greece uses state-of-the-art German renewable energy technology and has since learned to sell its products and projects worldwide.
We have developed and planned solar energy projects alone and with partners all over Europe and finally started to look at the thriving US market for green energy solutions. But we know our roots and take pride from originating at the sunny shores of Greece.

What We Do
We are active in the renewable energy sector, in photovoltaic,
wind and biomass solutions.
In photovoltaic’s we initiate, plan, develop and build solar energy solutions from small rooftop solutions to solar power energy parks in Europe and the USA
We also show extensive experience in providing Hotels and Resorts Worldwide with energy solutions.
With our partners we can provide solutions to your specific needs: Our products range from On-Grid Applications to Off–Grid Solutions used by remote Hotel Resorts worldwide.
GreeceSolar provides comprehensive energy efficienc solutions, solar energy solutions, commercial energy audits, CMMS implementation, sustainability programs and other products as well as services that significantly enhance the operating and financial performance of existing Hotel and Resort buildings.
To prepare for brown-out situations we provide off-grid solar system for Resorts (containing solar modules, charge controllers, powerful batteries and inverters as its main components. The solar modules are physically mounted on a mounting structure or directly to the rooftop of even the walls of the building and the DC power they produce is stored in the battery bank

Our capabilities begin with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) studies and energy audits, where we identify necessary and financially attractive infrastructure upgrade projects that deliver improved energy and operating efficiency, and also reduce your environmental impact. From there, we can work with you in a variety of ways to implement the projects and assure results.
Flexibility in Implementation
As owner’s agent, we can manage projects for you as an extension of your team. As project developer, we can procure equipment and contractors and oversee the projects as an outsourced partner. In either case, our work isn’t complete until your upgrades have been commissioned and savings are being measured and verified. We can build you a strong, efficient, and reliable economic energy infrastructure in your building, community and across your portfolio. Gerald Kammerl - Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President
Gerald Kammerl was the founder of Greece Solar in 2007, and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company. He has served on many committees and advisory boards and has been early on involved in the growth of the photovoltaic’s industry in Germany, and the development of sound renewable energy policies.
Heinz Hahnküper - Executive Vice President and General Manager
Heinz Hahnküper joined the Company in 2007 as an Associate, Project Development. He was named Director Business Development in Photovoltaic Business Development, in 2008; Executive Vice President and General Manager, Greece Solar EPE, in January 2009.
Thomas J. Darcy - Vice President Business Development
Thomas J. Darcy joined the Company in 2007 as an Associate, Utility Marketing and Business Development. He was named Vice President of Greece Solar in March 2009. Prior to joining Greece Solar, Mr Darcy was CEO& President of Mangold International Inc. Atlanta/USA, a worldwide leader in sophisticated IT solutions used in the research and industry.
Swana Hahnküper - Vice President Corporate Communications
Swana Hahnküper joined the Company in 2007 as a Manager Business Development and Public Relations. She was named Vice President Corporate Communications with Greece Solar in Dec 2008

We are currently building 84 sub projects with 80 kWp each,
in total 6,7 MW on the island of Crete and 46 projects with 100 kWp each
in total 4,6 MW also in Rhodes, with 7 sub projects under construction and almost completed.
At the mainland and the Aegean islands we have several MW PV under development.
And more than 100 MW Biogas plants in the pipeline.
